Congratulations to the team on a very good season opening victory. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by how well we played. The defense and continuity of play was solid, we defended our home field and scored enough tries to garner bonus points, so all and all a promising start.Man of the match honors go to Shaun Grobler, who accounted 14 points individually (1 try, one penalty, and 3 conversions), and also dished out 4 assists. I thought everyone played well, but will give shout outs to Hawaii 5-0 and C-Blake for their physical play around the field; to Matt Smith for some great work in the line-outs, including two steals in the first half; and to newcomers Boston Pat, Paul from Guam and English Ollie who all dotted tries in their first game with the club.
